The Cotswold Orchid Society (COS) meets at The Cotswold Hall, Northleach, on the second Sunday in each month at 2 for 2.30pm. Occasionally a meeting will be in the form of a visit to an orchid nursery (July 2001) or a garden meeting at a member's house/garden so as to give a private view of that member's collection (usually in August each year) so if travelling any distance, a call may be made to the Secretary to check. The Cotswold Hall is almost opposite the Wheatsheaf Inn, in the main street of Northleach, signposted from the A40 midway between Oxford and Cheltenham. Each meeting includes a Table Show, a speaker, often with plants for sale, and a short business meeting - COS does not have a committee, and all major decisions are taken by members in the course of the meetings. Visitors are welcome - if you are in the Cotswolds - call in and meet us.
