Thanks Geoff − I have heard of the glass vase method but not seen it. My
window sills go down to 13C in winter so I guess I will just have to keep
looking at pictures!

Geoff, I have never successfully grown vandas but a couple of years ago I think I read an article by an American Vanda hybridiser saying he had bred vandaceous hybrids to grow at "cooler" temperatures. What he meant by 'cooler' I have no idea but maybe someone out there may remember.

I have a dozen or so plants to sell − duplicates and divisions − several in
spike or flower , including some Miltassias etc, and a few species. E-mail
me for details and we'll keep the commercial stuff on the site.
