This week I have uploaded an album about Chihuly glass
at Fairchild. I know it's not an orchid, but most of
us love beauty and this is real beauty.

Subject: Phragmepedium kovachii Flask For Sale
Date: Thu, 10 May 2007 08:40
Dear Friends,
I have just put a flask of Phrag kovachii for sale on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item220110883957
The auction finishes on 16/05/2007 at 20:27 hours (about 6 days from now).
The flask contains about 16 plants, with the largest plant having leaves of about about 5.5 cm.
The plants are offspring of the cross between Phragmepedium kovachii clones 'Tupac Amaru' and 'Goliath'.
These seedlings are replates from a flask obtained legally in 2005. The seedlings have been grown from seed and have not been wild collected.
Photos of the flower of this species are at http://www.phragweb.info/species/photos/display_thumbnails.asp?phrag_idkovachii&phrag_namekovachii"
See "The Exciting New Phragmepedium kovachii" at http://autrevie.com/Articles/Phrag_kovachii.html for a fascinating account of the discovery of this beautiful orchid and subsequent media interest.
I have cultivated the species with 50% shade, relative humidity 60%, minimum temperature 12 degrees C. It should therefore be suitable for a cool or intermediate greenhouse.
If you are interested, please bid on the eBay website; please do not contact me directly with offers (I will be happy to answer any questions, though!).
Best regards to everyone,
Chong-Yee
